The inspiration to start

For years I've thought about homes. Years. I frequented open houses, scoured them on Redfin, paid to go see them on local home tours, watched every HGTV show imaginable, and talked endlessly about them with my mom and husband. "It's just a hobby" I thought. Something fun to pass the time.
And then everything changed. I became a mother.
There's something beautiful about your priorities changing. Motherhood didn't make me less driven or less determined. It shifted where I put my energy. It changed my goals to be more in line with what I want and who I can be. Motherhood gave me the courage to start even though I didn't feel ready. My babies inspired me to take my first steps into the world of design; for them, for me, for us.
So here we go. I have no idea if I can do it but I'll try. There's so much I don't know. But with every step and failure I'll learn and then I'll keep going. I'll give it more than the good ole college try. I'll give it my everything; for them, for me, for us.
